Uli Roth Sky Overture Live
Great clip there. Check out his 'sky' guitar.
This guy was like Randy a pioneer in mixing classical with rock and inspired players like Malmsteen when he was still playing with Scorpions in the seventies. I'm sure Randy knew who he was.
Check out "Tokyo Tapes" cd to hear how the Scorpions sounded with Uli ! Very .

Uli is one of the greats!
I`ve met Uli and he is very mild mannered and humble ...much like RR.
I think that Uli is the first true shredder INO. I`m gonna see Uli June 11th. Last time I saw him i remember walking up to the door of the club he was playing and hearing that uli tone...amazing! We only caught 2 songs as he was the opening act...bummer.
I`m wondering if RR knew of him and if so if he was inspired by him and his use of the diminished scale as I cant think of another 70`s player who was using them besides him . However RR simply could`ve just been inspired by the scale itself.
