This is really a great interview with Ed! (a must read for every guitarplayer)
He explains a lot about this technique, composing and is even playing things through te phone to demonstrate. It's very interesting but meanwhile Ed is asking several times if he is wasting the time of the interviewer!
Of course part 5 with the Randy comments is interesting but the whole interview is really great!
Part 3 is very interesting but also very funny when he misunderstood the interviewer!

Interesting, huh?


I also like the fact that while he says Randy learned from him and that he didn't think that Randy did anything that he hadn't done, he also points out that he learned from others as well. In other words, he was saying that Randy may have picked up some stuff from Ed, but so what? Ed picked up stuff from other guys, too.
