I looked and I didn't find a page for them. I'm a huge fan (who is still a newbie to them!) of the Floyd. I got into them about 7 months ago and I'm a tad obsessed.

They have such great albums and great sound. Anybody else (other than Simon

) a fan?
I have:
The Piper At The Gates of Dawn
A Saucerful of Secrets
Ummagumma
Meddle
Dark Side of The Moon
Wish You Were Here (my favorite!)
Animals
P*U*L*S*E (the blinking cover! I got it at a used cd store for 20 bucks! Barely scratched!)
Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live 1980-1981
Three bootlegs: Live at Pompeii audio rip, Manchester 1974 and the infamous Montreal 1977 show AKA the birthplace of The Wall
Last but not least (sorry to be so long

)
P*U*L*S*E dvd
Live At Pompeii

Yeah, went downhill a month after I joined in January. I haven't been on in forever. Besides this thread is "OTHER MUSIC!"

I only meant it as a helpful suggestion since you'd mentioned that you had looked and not found a page for them.

"Amused to death" is the work of a genius.
I'm going to see Roger Waters play in Manchester in early May.

I could've gone to see him in Chicago, but money came up and became an issue

You have got to check out Momentary Lapse of Reason, i know this is later Floyd but MLOR is a mint album. The guitar solos on 'Learning to Fly' and 'Sorrow' are awesome Gilmour.

Even without Roger Waters, Delicate Sound of Thunder is one of the best albums ever. That CD on headphones is phenomenal.
Roger Waters may have been the "soul" of Floyd after Syd Barrett lost his mind, but David Gilmour has been an integral part of the band since 1967 when he came on board to help an ailing Syd. It can be argued that Gilmour was instrumental in the very earliest Floyd music as well since he gave Syd Barrett guitar lessons through grammer school and high school.
The music of Pink FLoyd is incredible, everyone should listen to it for a time and learn just what a rock band can do when they want to.

Wow, my old thread.
Yeah, I still enjoy Floyd, I've heard so much of them now. Like their legendary "The Man and The Journey" which is pretty great. Although finding clear bootlegs of them is kinda hard, since a lot of them are audience recorded. Reminds me of Zeppelin bootlegs.
