What a quantum leap from Rick Astley to Black Sabbath / Ozzy i suppose music has a market and i have seen him playing live a good pop artist with a string of hits. But to go from easy listening to the extreme blast of Sabbath but music doesn't have any bounderies and if your ears like it...

I, too, love all types of music. On a daily basis I listen to 80's metal, current country music and 70's funk.
When disco was popular, I was NOT a fan, but, now, I actually like quite a bit of it because I LOVE the funky bass. I was the same way with 'New Wave' - never a fan back in the 80's, but now I can hear it differently and enjoy it.

For no other reason than nostalgia, I'm listening to Paul Stanley's 1978 solo album... haven't listened to it since about 1980 and it brings back memories.
