Wah Power

Something I've been thinking of for a while, I'd really like to do the Cliff Burton-eqsue wah power thingy (i.e. hit a string hard an dpush the pedal all the way down) like you can hear in the background to The Call of Ktulu or Anesthesia. Trouble is, my wah doesn't have "power" all the way down. Anyone got any tips for getting some more? There's volume and variable Q on the pedal, or I could turn middle up on my amp.
Or is it because the pedal he's using is a Morley Power Wah Boost, i.e it has a boost on it.
Cheers

Maybe the difference is the Morley Wah he used, they are very high quality. If I remember correctly they are not very cheap as well.
But I also hear distortion in "Pulling teeth", sounds like he used a Big Muff or something, not sure if he did? I would first try to get some distortion (from amp or a stompbox) after the wah to create that effect. You will get some compression then probably resulting that the volume of the different frequencies will be more equal in volume.
And if you have distortion box laying around, also try it to hook it up before the Wah, you will maybe get some suprising effects!

I have an Electro-Harmonix Big Muff that I use. It's probably because it's a Power Wah and mine says nothing about power

Does it work out? You should be able to come close I guess.

It does make is have more power but not an extreme boost. I reckon it's the type of morley.
