i almost saw the who live. i was conscious long enough to see pete townsend jump 10' in the air with his opening strum. managed to stay awake to see the opening act, lynyrd skynyrd, 'tho.
Awake, as in NOT passed out?

Cheap Trick with Uriah Heep opening up. I probably could have enjoyed Cheap Trick a lot more if the ass in front of hadn't smoked so much weed, and pucked all over.

my first band i went to see live was The Commitments, yes that fictional band from the Alan Parker film :) i managed to get 2 of the movie star autographs and the other 2 were just the other members who wernt in the film :) it was a great day for me as i felt the music pound into my heart and throat and to this day i still sing

"I wanna tell you a story every man oughta know

If you want a little lovin' you gotta start real slow

She gonna love you tonight, if you just treat her right
Oh squeeze her real gentle, you gotta make her feel good

Tell her that you love her like you know you should

She gonna love you tonight if you just treat her right
If you practice my method just as hard as you can

You gonna get a reputation as a lovin' man

Yeah, you'll be glad every night that you're treatin' her right
Hey hey hey hey" etc :P

oh yeah its called Treat Her Right :)

I wish id seen Ozzy (espically with Randy but i was never born then) though but money does constraint..

My sister's first concert was Anson Williams who played "Potsie" on happy days, so don't feel so bad...
