Well, Dutch got it right, it is indeed Alex Skolnick
Born and raised in Berkely, California where he earned his recognition at age 16 when he recorded his first demo with Testament
Pretty much an Ibanez-guy although he's played Gibsons on occasion.
His Randy connection is that he(as many before and after him) was influenced by him
and he actually did play a liveshow with Ozzy in the mid 90's
