I have a set of colbalt on one of my guitars and I think they are terrible. After a few hours they felt rough, almost rusted......funnily after 6mths they actually felt a lot better than from day one. They are way over priced as well.....I use stainless steel strings on most of my gtr and they are way better than the colbalt

In nine years of playing guitar I've only ever snapped two strings while playing, so i can't really say it appeals much to me
