I think the reason why I stopped playing electric guitar was because I identify more with the second video than the first! I never received the annointing from the gods of rock that my friends did in high school.
But at least I am happy with myself now. I do classical and ragtime guitar and have grown immensely as a musician.
But I still love blasting Van Halen from my speakers every now and again!!!
