Ronnie died at age 66 after a battle with prostate cancer... Here is an article on him.
I was never a HUGE fan, but I did enjoy his playing and have a couple 'rare' CDs of rehearsals he did with Montrose (Sammy sounded wasted in the studio )
Randy was a fan of Ronnie.

Another great guitarist who's sadly not with us anymore. I remember seeing Ronnie with his 'Gamma' project back in the 80's. He turned a few heads that night and was a great talent. RIP Ronnie

Yes very sad, I saw him in the 70's on the Warner Brothers UK tour, in Montrose, they were great.
