The outcome or result of the trial is not important, but the process of it is very important. We are not savages, so we should not act like it. You need to be held accountable for your actions, no matter what. Period.

Murdering Bin Ladin and Gadaffi is taking the easy way out.
I agree, the process is extremely important. The problem is, especially in the States, the trial is turned into a media circus and extrordinary amounts of money is spent on the circus. A bullet to the head, no matter how wrong, saves all that money for more important issues, like the children in Sierra Leone who need food, shoes, clothes and a school house...

It's a shame our world can't see what is important to spend the money on and have a trial for a madman in a fucking barn with one video camera for documentation.

In all honesty Paul, the media industry waste disgusting amounts of money on asinine product, they don't even invest intelligently in their own programming, they aren't about to start giving out charity. The BBC always say they are poor, well why the hell are they wasting £££ on 360' HD slow motion shots of a man peeling a fucking potato for a cooking show. That money could be used to expand programming and employ more people. Now we're back to endless repeats of 'Alo Alo'.

Rant aside, the point is the media industry would still rather stalk and slander Brittany Spears than give a toss about some kid in Africa, and the judicial system wastes money day-in-day-out, period. Gaddafi's trial would be a drop in the ocean. Whatever money is saved will probably get chewed up by bureaucratic process or used to buy more bombs.

Sorry to be pessimistic on this issue :|

Gadaffi followers will be found hanging on the vine alley, in the broad daylight shooting ... So this is not a new beginning lybia it is only a beginning of a new tyrant waiting for the power.
