My parents put our family home on the market over a year ago. I have waited patiently for them to "pray" for someone to notice it even exits. If anyone knows something about selling houses let me know. I am even thinking of making a rap/rock video to get someone to notice it.

SELL MY FAMILY'S HOUSE!!
To be a teacher you must never stop learning yourself...
Hey , yall got a beautiful lookin home there , like most things for sale .. if the price aint right it's gonna be a whole lot harder to sell , we just bought our house last November and the only way we could buy it is becuase the seller offered it for a price we could't say no to !
There are houses in our neighborhood that are for sale and have been for some time , there's nothing wrong with them at all , it's just that they are not "value for money" and so they stay for sale ....
I hope your house sells very soon .. good luck with it .

Mom's Call
Our family house doesn't sell because my mom refuses to go through a broker other than herself. The house is a steal as it is. The house sits on 8 acres of almost park-like landscape. All the Texas-style cactus was removed years ago. The house and property are also built to last any flood mother nature can throw at you. In the area the house is located you are killing for 1 acre of subdivision-style crap. I've watched the shows on T.V. on selling houses and recommended all that information to both my parents. They don't want to spend one more dime trying to get the house ready for an open house. They just believe the magic house fairy will sprinkle "buy this house" dust all over it. It is truly frustrating. Last year I gave my dad $3,500 to help pay 6 months of back taxes. There is always something coming up around the corner. Squirrels that get into the house and build their home in the drawers, raccoons that make huge piles of crap on the second story rooftop. Sewer system so full of crap that we had to get it completely sucked out because the downstairs shower was clogged up. Some days I think our family is like cousin Eddie's family from Vacation when he says, "Shitter's Full!" But hey....now it's all fixed.
