my son made me proud tonight!
ok when my son was 3 or 4,we used to go visit my exes brother which is in lake helen florida.right outside orlando..a few times when we passed the exit to leesburg i used to tell my ex thats where randy died.of course my lil munchkin was in his carseat in the backseat..with his eyes wide open!lol!hes'ten now gotten to know randy's music by listening to me play guitar or just listening to randy's songs or seeing my drawings etc...so my son called me tonight to see how i was and i said are you on the road and he said yeah going to visit my uncle with my mom and stepdad.so i asked him have you passed(HE CUTS ME OFF AND SAID YEAH WE JUST NOW PASSED LEESBURG)!i said how do you know?he says i was looking for the exit sign and it said leesburg..another future randy fan is all i could think of!!!that moment just about brought me to tears!!!sorry for rambling i just thought that was adorable!!!
