Me: Hey did you look at that tab?

Joe: Yea

Me: gonna learn it?

Joe: Nah fuck that it's too hard!

Me: Awww ok

Joe: You mean Eruption right?

Me:....yea....

Tell him to just try it :D
I hate the tabs I have for Eruption, i've got about 5 versions and they all do the exact same thing. They do it so that it's identicle to the actual song and then tell you the errors Eddie made in it, making the tab really hard to play perfect if you want to play it for GCSE in which you have to play note for note to the sheet music. I've even seen one which has the funny sounding E string at the end and attempted to make it even "better" by making the unclean bits "let ring". I say I say! That's not what annoyed me most though, what annoyed me most is that my friend said he would get me a medal if I played it but since as I can't get all the mistakes "perfect" i don't get a medal  :D

My friend who enjoys a good bass shred told me to tell you the following few...

"Don't use a pick, use more than 2 fingers, tap if you want, ignore guitarists and what they tell you"

:D So maybe you shouldn't do any of those! Or maybe you should do all of them because I suggested not doing any of those. But then you don't do any, but then you do. Confusing eh!

He's got more! Sorry for the multiple posting.

"switch for '40s', unless he knows otherwise then his g string is .45. Next pack of strings tell him to get .40. It's a bit of a bitch at first because there's less tension on the neck and shit but it gets millions easier to play faster".

Dunno if that helps at all, it's all he can think of now. I'll PM you more if he gets more ones :)
