Went to the Screening of the new Maiden movie last night. Fantastic.
Its a documentary from the first leg of last years Somewhere Back in Time Tour.
Great movie, plenty of excellent live footage as well as loads of backstage and interview clips, a lot of it a good laugh, especially when Nicko McBrain's involved. Great respect to Bruce Dickinson who not only puts in a great performane night after night but also pilots the plane between gigs, often thousands of miles at a time.
I never realised Maiden where so popular in places like India, Costa Rica, Mexico and Chile, they are worshipped like Gods, some of the fans over there are mental for anything Maiden.
Its coming out on DVD with extra footage at the end of next month, I'd definatley recommend anyone to check it out, even if your not a particularly great fan of the band its still a great film.
