I'm heading over to Sidcup in 2 days to see Matt, Suzie and of course Mama Barbara!, I will admit that I'm nervous about the journey down there, but I get like that with every journey!

I know they'll all look after me
I will be playing guitar on the open mic night on sunday at the cons club, I hope I dont disapoint or get stage fright

wish me luck

I hope to play Waves of Dreams and maybe some improvisional. Let me see how my heart and my fingers decide to play.
Might sneak in a bit of Randy Rhoadsism's

Who knows!
I am really looking forward to it all!

Simon i have heard that no matter who you are in the big Rock / Music world. The day you stop being nervous is the day you stop doing what you love..It's all part of the Buzz.. you'll have fun mate regardless. Just watch out for playing bum notes

even the pros do that ...even Matt

Well I'll play on, I'm gunna try my best, I dunno how long I have on to play live lol, so recently I've been jamming all kinds of stuff at home, just seeing what I can think to fit in, everything from a short extract of Beethoven's 5th to Iron Man to some minor scales, See how the atmosphere goes!
OH! and I'm also gunna see if I can jam with Matt live too

should be interesting because I'm abstract on my playing and with his beautiful playing I'm sure we can do something impressive
Any more advice?

Simon you daft sausage!
Looking forward to seeing you too.
Barbara is really looking forward to seeing you loads. We will go and play pool and see her at our local Saturday night!
I have a baggy t-shirt that I have started calling my mama catcher. What I do is wait till mama Barbara is off guard and then the mama catcher t-shirt goes right over her head.
When she emerges she looks flustered and her hair is in a mess LMAO
She isn't such a fan of it but I think you will understand why it cracks me up
As for mistakes. I have never played and not made a mistake. I resigned myself to that years ago and stopped getting mad at myself for making any errors live.
What is funny is now that I have just let go and thought like this I make less balls ups

LOL!!
I am looking forward to meeting you my friend
