Are any of the European guys here watching the Rugby?

Just had a few jibes from my Aussie pupil at work (a teacher) who said England just rely on penalties and no genuine skill.LOL

I said from a country that boasts Home and Away, Kylie and Dame Edna he better stop now!! :D :D

But seriously anyone like Ruggers!!?

Matt

Isn't Rugby that game where a bunch of toothless hooligans dress like "Where is Waldo" and then grab each other's genitals :P

I thought that was line-dancing.

And I have to say Matt, I have always really hated sport. I just find it all so dull. I know Skezza like football but I tend run out of the room sobbing if sport's on TV. :D

Matt up to 2001 was the same. He hated ALL sport (except boxing) but Suzie expalined football to me and in 2000 I started watching England matches and loving them. Next came Rugby.

I like the way all human drama is played out on the field or in a game..all the highs, lows, disappointments, elation etc, passion etc etc..seriously I love just buying a load of beers or wine putting my guitar on my knee and watching football or Rugby.

On a human level I am very nationalistic!

But the real me thinks the solar system is so big and we are all brothers and sisters I hate being proud just because I was randomly given life in England.

I am a great reader of hitory and politics as well as being active in arab human rights work.
I think what we are seeing (between the sites) is what happened after the defeat of Germany in WWI and the outbreak of WWII

And if you believe that, you will believe anything!

Cus I made it up   (the last part)
