In mid-December we went to Northern Europe for a few days.

These are from the sculpture park on the sea front in Den Haag, Netherlands taken the morning after we had dinner with 'The Flying Dutchman' 8) . It was that cold the sand had frozen.

The sculptures are famous and any members from NY might have seen work by the artist on the subway.

The sun was very bright so in this photo we all closed our eyes and opened them just as the clicker was pressed, hence my stupid face!

These are all of my favorite city; Antwerp in Dutch Falnders, Belgium. Taken during the day and night, they show the main shopping street, the Meir (do you recognise it Stewie with all those H&M's?!) and the city square where at Christmas time they have Ice Skating. I love the promanade that runs along the river and always go up there at lunch time and after dinner in the evenings.

Antwerp was icy cold and beautiful and remains the place I am determined to buy a second home.

You would love northern Europe it is beautiful in the cold and warm, when you visit I will take you to Antwerp myself and be your guide. The kid is my daughter Dawn who went to Europe with us this time :) Thanks for the kind words about Jessica, I am a very lucky man. H&M's.. I'm going to one tomorrow :)! To bad I've got no pictures of my visit to antwerp, but it was a lovely day!

Yes frozen sand.. Is that odd?
I've got to take pictures from Ghent one day.. It's so normal for me cause I go there every day, but its actually a beatifull city too.

That are some really nice quality photographs!

Beautiful pictures, Ian.
I got Mike the Canon EOS 40D for Christmas, and judging from those photos, I did a good job in picking the right camera.
You do have 2 lovely women in your life. Frank and I will eventually get to vist over there with y'all.
Maybe you can buy us the tickets and mail them since, well, you know...... It's a thought.....
