Has anyone here been affected by them or have family who have been? I know we have a high concentration of West coast US members due to Randy growing up there. I hope you are all keeping safe and well.
Does anyone know if the fires are close to where Randy grew up or near to his resting place?
I hope you (the west coast members) are OK

Frank, has the lighthouse district been destroyed that you know of?
I read in the paper this morning about the fire spreading to San Bernardino.
If there is anyone that needs help, let us know. I'll ship some things to help if needed.

I live in north San Diego county a few miles from the beach. The fires came about 8 miles from my house. we were'nt evacuated but my brother and his wife were. the fire was all around their place...but didn't affect them other than the evacuation. The air was so thick with smoke and ash this last week it was unbearable. my heart goes out to all who lost their homes. It's been a devastating week.

My parents had to evacuate the house, but everything is fine now. I curse the bastards that started these fires!

They had this problem in Athens and across Greece this summer, hundreds of fires were started, it has meant that daytime tempratures have risen in affectec cities, due to the lack of plants and tree's to cool the hot air.
