I am so very sorry I haven't been around for awhile..things have been pretty bad in my family..my mom broke her leg on Sept. 23 & had to have knee replacement surgery recently..it'll take 6 weeks to heal.
Then Sept. 30, my 15 yr. old son-who lives with his father was found by a policeman on a sidewalk passed out.He was taken to the hospital where he was found to have alcohol poisoning!! He had to stay in the hospital a day and a half where he was given potassium & other things through an IV.He is fine now but almost died because he had 3 times the legal limit of alcohol in his system. So I have been really worried about him.
Just wanted to update you all on this..hope to be around a lot more this month..love each of ya..peace.

I hope things are geting a little brighter now, I have a love hate relationship with alcohol. I enjoy drinking but fear the results, headaches etc! also as my job relies on being able to drive I have always got to keep my intake on the low side to allow me to attened emergencies as they come in. I am certain that if I had none of these restrictions I would drink much more than is considered a safe amount.
I realy hope he comes through this with you, I think all young people have a craving to pile in the booze, they think its grown up and tough looking, the truth is that to really enjoy a drink it should be done in moderation and in good company. I think this is something we learn with age and experience.
Its a shame that all us friends (here) are so spread across the globe, the UR drinks party would be one to remember
