Apparently he was sensible to go into rehab rather than take his 16-year-old son out on a Van Halen tour... that's gotta count for something.

Very true, and hopefully Dave can grow up enough to keep his mouth shut offstage... As for Mike, hopefully the fact that Wolfie says he's not ready for a VH tour, maybe the brothers Van Halen will talk to Mike. I think Alex has a lot of influence on Ed in these situations and Ed gets the blame. Alex rarely steps into the media spotlight, yet he is firmly in control of Van Halen as a band.

It would be great if they all (including Mike), could get together and hash out a plan. I would love to see the original VH line-up again.
