Hello, I'm big fan of Rock music.
I have more than 1000 mp3's on my iPod and always searching for more

.
What mp3 sites do you know, where i can download
Rock?
P.S. Sorry for posting in ""Off Topic"", but I haven't found a better category for my post.

I use "Shareaza". Works fine so far.

How about iTunes? Or maybe Google your question to find legal downloading sites?
Not trying to be an ass, but your first post here is asking to find places to download music? This is a Randy RHoads fan site. I prefer to see people come here, discuss Randy's music, get to know th community and then ask for favors.

i always thought it was illegal to download mp3's, at any level. However, ive heard it is now possible to download them 'legally' but whether its worth it i couldnt tell you.

If you were to Google the subject, you'd find
cableguyxx's site
here, with all kinds of music from Randy's Quiet Riot era.
Please, spend some time becoming a part of the community rather than just coming to look for handouts. And be sure to thank Darin (
cableguyxx for making so much music available.

Downside with those pay-to-download sites, is the bitrate. Anything under V0 VBR, which has an average of 220kbps bitrate, sounds like crap to me. Most of the time it's not even more than 128kbps. Who in their rightful mind would pay retail price for something like that?
I just don't get the whole iTunes Store for example.
I suppose its quicker and easier than buying a CD meh, personally, i wouldnt think about paying for a album unless i held the CD in my hand. thats just my preference if im honest

Have to agree with Meh on this one. iTunes is almost a rip off when you think about it, because its nowhear near CD quality and therefore your just getting a poor version.

The "legal" download sites may not have great quality, but the whole point of suggesting them is that we had someone come here, join the site, and on his/her very first post ask for freebies.
If pyhrricmadame had spent some time being a part of the community first, I would have glady been helpful rather than sarcastic in my initial reply.

I like the live bootleg sites.
