If I believe it, that is not a flaw. If you read everything I've written here, I repeatedly mention my belief in freedom of choice. That means I believe everyone has the right to choose what they want to believe. That inherently means everyone's opinion is valid. So I don't see where I have been narrow-minded nor where I failed to acknowledge anyone's opinion as valid. I simply said I don't don't feel my beliefs are flawed and I didn't care for that insiuation.

you know, when i was younger, i despised christians. i thought they were pompous, self-righteous one dimensional a**holes. then i came face to face with the reality of Him and i was undone.

One more week until Easter. This is the week that we all as Christians
have learned the suffering of Jesus, the betrayal of his friends, the crucifixion, and His resurrection.
It is also a time for rejoicing, for learning that there is hope.

Most people become familiar with religion by other people...... but what if they never met these people?
For some people I know they had those questions too and 'solved' them for themselves when they found a religion. Quick and easy, so they wouldn't be bothered anymore with some fundamental questions.......
I think I am a sort of sceptical believer. The existing religions don't give me satisfying answers. I don't say there isn't a God either, honestly I don't know....... And I can (have to) live with that.... I know there are people who can't so they solved it with a religion. This is not a stab to the believers, I can only speak for myself, if people do/can believe and feeling better with that then I think it's a great gift !
And who knows, maybe one day He/She/It will speak to me as well!

if i never heard about god, would i question all of this? yes dutch i believe i would. there is within each of us a void that cannot be otherwise filled. why are we here? that's the $64,000 question isn't it? did the world "create" intelligence or did intelligence create the world? you're right though...these are questions that do not go away. but you are open minded and for that i am glad.

well for starters, my friend, did you read the next sentence? 2007 ANNO DOMINI is the year we live in. THE YEAR OF THE LORD is how we mark time. the bible was written by 66 authors over roughly 2000 years. you're not the first to question it's authenticity but i admire your tenacity stiltz.
