Do you have any story behind this picture Frank? like where, when, why it was taken.

Love the car, and out of interest to me a fellow air-cooled lover when was it stolen  and do you have any more pictures of it :)

i don't know who took it. we were invited to randys moms for a fourth of july b-b-q. ( for those who aren't aware, it's a celebration of freedom from the tyranny of those blasted english). burbank puts on a fireworks show in the evening and randy was contributing to the festivities with a bottle rocket (aka bottle bocket). my v.w. was parked across the street from randys house and made it into the photo. the car was stolen shortly after.

Married with three kids so that takes up most of my spare time. Been in Fire Service for over 10 years and still really enjoy it. Into most sports and enjoy keeping fit, training for London Marathon at the moment. Heavily into music and love going to rock concerts, (but also go to pop concerts with the Mrs and the kids) Overall try to enjoy life to the full.

Bit of both really, firstly its a personal challenge to see if I can run 26 miles without walking, I 've been training since November and its going well, but it's been hard work, but I'm feeling great, hope I feel as good on the day of the run, the end is in sight now, only 5 weeks to go, but I've got to keep up the training. I'm raising money for the local school where my kids go to, trying to get money for more sports equipment, football kits, etc. I have ran the Marathon before but I was totally gone by about 17 miles, I had to walk/stumble the last 9, but this time I hope I've trained well enough to run all the way. We'll see.

All I can say is good luck and keep us posted on how it goes, last year I was in London the weekend of the Marathon. On the Saturday I watched them set up the route around the Cutty Sark and the next day I tried to leave London the long way round avoiding all the hold ups :? .

It's the London Marathon this coming Sunday. After months of training it's finally here. Going down to London on Friday morning and coming back Sunday night. Training has gone well, feel good, can't wait. Furthest I've ran is 20 miles, maybe should have ran further but that nearly killed me, but hopefully I'll be able to manage the 26 miles on the day. I'm excited but also a bit nervous, just hope I can run all the way and not walk. I know it's gonna absolutley knacker me but who cares. I just wanna get round the course. Roll on Sunday.
