Yeah, I agree. Most of China is still like that, save for the big cities which are all smog and concrete like you just said. The smog there is actually worse than any smog anywhere else in the world, if you can imagine that.highpriestess wrote:the pics are beautiful. extremely tranquil. i wish the planet still LOOKED like that ALL OVER, i hate all this concrete and smog.

dreams are very important. Simon, have you read the alchemist by Paulo Cohelo? i ask because it is a fictional book, but contains much truth about finding your destiny etcsiro_angel wrote:Hey Nicole
Those pics just make me feel all inspired inside and believe that any dream can be a reality.

LOL.. Yes, I think you used the exact word and only word that could explain Crowley's, how shall I say... Deviance?highpriestess wrote:*applauds*
I think the only thing about Crowley's ideas and practices that really never set right with me was the over emphasis on sex and magick. I do understand his LOGIC behind it, but I've always thought that it was just a crafty way for his lil freaky self to convince people to have orgies with him. LOL!!! He was a very smart, and powerful man... and i think in that respect he kind of manipulated it all to suit his own edgy desires (because face it, he WAS a deviant. lol) - but, his methods in controling thw will of others was indeed real... and several popel have written about actually witnessing him doing this. And like you, I myself have doen it as well.
You know, since we are posting on a Randy Rhoads forum I have to say this about Randy and Ozzy. Randy's playing struck a note inside my very being with his music that changed, or at least altered my course in life. If I had never heard Randy playing on BOO and DOAM more likely than not I wouldn't have wanted to figure out how to play myself. No other music in my life up to that point peaked my curiosity about the electric guitar and I wasn't feeling the electricity I felt when hearing anyone else's playing. I would get goosebumps from those albums, and I still do. Randy believed in his music so much, I think, that he gave it a life all its own and it was a miracle that he was able to be a part of those recordings that changed not only me but countless people, and I think it is pretty safe to say here that we all are one of those changed people. Ozzy too, with Randy rose up from the ashes of his former career and took hold of his destiny to become the ultimate rockstar he always struggled to be before. IMO, BOO and DOAM are as close to something that is truly magical and if you listen to them with open ears you will walk away from it a better person.
Oh bring me some CHUNKY PUDDING, and bring it RIGHT NOW!!!

He was a TOTAL deviant! But he did understand how the human psyche worked and how it is universally connected to everyone through the super ego and by this understanding knew how to manipulate it with his will. IMO that is quite an achievement, on top of this he decided to tell the world that this was available to anyone who wanted to learn it.

Yes he is my favourite. I do love Daniel Craig though and what he has bought to it!!
My favourite for smug one liners though are Pierce and Roger!!
Fish and Chips, James Bond, Led Zeppelin...these should be on our postage stamps!!

Zakk - you know what i love about you re: this thread? The fact that you dont care to explain anything, you aren't lookin for answers, you're not here to split hairs - you are just simply "I BELIEVE, FUCKERS!!!" and that's all you need. I honestly envy you, because that speaks volumes as to how complete your life is and how happy you are. All I can say is, GOD (however you may perceive him) has blessed you.
