So, 4 years ago I asked what UR members from outside the USA thought of our electing Donald Trump as he was coming into power.
Now that he's on his way out, especially with the event on Wednesday, I'm curious what you might be thinking.
Not looking for political comments from American citizens, just the point of view from those not involved.

Everyone in Germany in 1944 had Hitler running the show.. History can repeat itself and some guys would do the power trip as a president of a country with such power, the world is your oyster. Ronald Reagan was one president that people didn't take serious but did he do a shit job ?. JFK was probably one of the best presidents IMHO but someone wanted him dead. Conspiracy or not he was well liked amongst the people of America. Can a president hold onto his promises to make a country better or is that just a pipe dream to get votes. Even if the ballet was rigged, i couldn't see him being in his position much longer. Shit who would of thought the USA would ever have a black president but it happened.

I honestly never thought Trump would be elected, and when he was I thought he'd just do a forgettable job and then we'd move on.
Never in a million years did I think he'd have such ardent followers.

Gotta say Dutch, we definitely have a party with some instability!
Rumor has it that tomorrow (1/17) all 50 state capitals will be attacked... I live 20 minutes south of the Washington State capital so I'm hoping the rumors are wrong!
