Bootlegs released?

Do you think Randy's bootlegs will ever be officially released?

Well, they've been officially released here :lol:, but no, there bootlegs. They arnt legal as it is!

I think we all wish that everything Ozzy and/or the record labels have in their vaults would be released as a DVD sompilation, or whatever. Maybe someday. But, if I was a betting man, I'd say 'no'.

I remember once seeing an interview with Ozzy that he had asked if anyone that had recordings of he and Randy to let him know, so that he could use it for the making of the Tribute album. After releasing the Tribute album, he had said that was all he had of him and Randy, there was no more. Let's hope that's not the case.

I've read that Tommy Aldridge stated at some point that he has many tapes that are better than the Tribute recording.

I am working on a release right now that has a guitar sound that is mindblowing!!! It is an audience recording, not perfect, but flipping awesome! It is starting to become my fav recording!!!

sounds like that could be the 8-8-81 show. Just a wild guess.

There is progress being made, they released Quiet Riot: The Randy Rhoads Years. Its not bootlegs but its cool rare stuff. They might be relased one day.
