Bootleg "Album" Covers

Post by Whipper »

I have an OCD thing with my iTunes... I simply can't stand seeing see an album with that blank album cover icon. So I made some covers for all the recordings that are featured here in the free audio section.

I color coded them: yellow for the BOO tour and purple for the DOAM tour. The images are not for the proper concerts, as I hardly found any pics that were labeled properly, and if they were, they weren't for any of the bootleg shows.

Just enter the required code and hit 'download file', then you'll have to wait for 25 seconds before you can click on 'Regular download', unless you happen to have a premium account.

How do you get them to go on the ipod? I've tried to do that in the past, but it didn't work...

Do you 'drag & drop' the album to the iPod through iTunes? That's how I always transfer them, and the cover art always appears on the iPod too that way. That's assuming the copy on your computer is set up with the album cover in iTunes first.

You can still apply the cover art to an album on an iPod through iTunes too though. In iTunes, try selecting all the tracks of the album (shift-click) and then right click on them and select 'Get Info'. Under the 'Info' tab, there's a square for 'Artwork' - drag and drop the JPEG file for the cover onto this square, and it should show up then.

Damn... try applying it directly to the copy on the iPod in iTunes then - see above for how, I added it to my post while you posted :)
