Autographed BOO Band Guitar - Buffalo, NY

I received this guitar from a former Buffalo policeman, and close family friend. He obtained it at the Blizzard Of Ozz show in Buffalo, NY April 9, 1982.

I have had two guitar friends look at it, and no doubt they are live signatures and period correct.

I have seen photos of this guitar getting signed and my friend has no reason to lie to me. What I want to know is what kind of guitar is it? There are no markings to indicate any maker, but it does have a the Floyd Rose whammy.

What brand of guitar is it? By the time of Randy's death Floyd's were a Kramer guitar thing... and I don't recall recessed bridge cavities on any trem guitar until around '85/'86 when Steve Vai went nuts on it...

A bit suspect.

Bob and Lee never toured the US with Oz and RR. It's well known that they were tossed from Blizzard of Ozz band in 1981 after recording DOAM was completed.

Check Diasley's book, "For Facts Sake", for exact dates.

No I know they didn't tour and all the ugliness that happened. But I'm guessing this is a promo guitar that was signed prior to the split, and Ozzy & Randy signed as needed for photo ops? Maybe?

A former policeman / family friend i think your friend has done a dodgy deal on you. If he is putting a date on when this guitar was signed. The guitar was made after Randy had died ?? Buddy i think you need to do some research April 1982 Randy was killed the previous month and them signatures look BAD...Or is some troll doing this for a big laugh !!!

Nope not a troll....and it turns out I was wrong...it was from '81 when they played here at the Convention Center May 6th.

Similar signatures on this signed Blizzard album which turned out to be bogus...
