Re: my randy collectable
So it was you who bought this, i remember when this was on ebay. I forget how much it sold for ?. I don't know how they can say it is his last signature as i have seen other Knoxville tickets signed. I listed one on here back in March 2007 and that was signed by Randy, Don Airey, and Rudy. It's a cool item to own but as far as it making more interest because it's his last ever signature ?. That is a hard one to prove. Who's to say that the band didn't stop after the show and go for a bite to eat and a coach load of fans from the gig seen them and they signed for everyone ?.
Re: my randy collectable
i actually have to the conclusion that is was signed before the show.....rudy sarzo signature is halfway missing so my thinking is the ticket was torn later after entry in the event......I dont think its actually his last signature either....

Re: my randy collectable
It wasn't mine, i posted up the link at the time it was on ebay and it sold for $1700.00 or there abouts i cannot remember. I was looking at the Ozzy signature and i have seen some bad Ozzy sigs from his drunking stoned self. But yours is very ??. The Rhoads looks 100% but i'd hate to think someone has added that sig to help it sell ? . How much did you have to pay to get it authenticated and sprayed. I see you commented on the Randy signature that i sold for £2,050.00 = $3,302.00 how much did you pay for yours if you don't mind me asking ?
Re: my randy collectable
im pretty sure its real....I have met both Ozzy and Rudy and showed them the ticket....they said it was their writing.....it cost me about $100 to get authenticated by psadna and they had it for about 5 hours looking at it, I got it done about 2 years ago and they have not really seen very many Randy Signatures they said.
I paid $325 for the ticket in the early 2000s on ebay.....I didnt think I would win the auction but I did get lucky...

Re: my randy collectable
Well for $325 you did well to get it for a good price. Was this from the original owner. As you said you had made up your own mind and said the ticket was signed before the gig. Not necessarily so. rudy's may of been signed before and Randy's could of been done after the gig ?.goob92 wrote:im pretty sure its real....I have met both Ozzy and Rudy and showed them the ticket....they said it was their writing.....it cost me about $100 to get authenticated by psadna and they had it for about 5 hours looking at it, I got it done about 2 years ago and they have not really seen very many Randy Signatures they said.

As you will know items connected to Randy Rhoads are selling for big money these days. The only reason i'm selling mine is because i'm out of work and need the funds. You said something that doesn't shine for me. If the people who are authenticating the item havn't seen many Rhoads signatures before, how do they know what it looks like ?.
They do tests like carbon dating now, on the paper and they can tell how long the ink has been on the paper. So for all the fools on ebay selling shit signatures be warned. This test is 1000% guaranteed, so if the signature is forged and new this test will prove it to be fake.
Re: my randy collectable
You got some good points, I'm not going to sell mine. It was just my belief that it was done before the show but truthfully I will never ever know. I did get it from original owner, I got a notarized document showing it being done at some hyatt hotel....are you familiar with psadna? They keep everything on file....I'm pretty sure it's real, I don't even question that....I got a blizzard of ozz that I think I got burned on back in the 2000s that was suppose to be signed by ozzy and Randy....I'll put it up later on here

Re: my randy collectable
I wouldn't of said that Ozzy signature looked 'different' if i didn't think so. I've had loads of items passed to me and i've seen enough to know how he signed from 1978 - 1990. His signature now, is just a wobbled scribble that anyone could forge.
No i'm not familiar with anything to do with authentification companys. As i think they have to be really good to put a time on when it was signed. Some forgers make a living from selling BS items. Providence, knowledge and looking at the item sells it for me.

Re: my randy collectable
Actually,i saw a genuine randy signature deemed as fake by the psa/dna clowns.Seriously.Yes yours is real but im sure if you resubmitted that ticket multiple times to them, they would deem it fake 50% of the time. And if they now keep a photo profile of your item im sure its only cuz they dont want to be shown as incompetent and getting exposed or sued. And the signed ticket on ebay a few years ago went for 1500 to a japanese buyer.
