Lesson On Randy's Style By Andy Aledort

Post by Tito »

i used to see andys transcriptions back in the 80s and i never liked them.he had backward fingerings for all of randys songs and after seeing this i see why.he has some kind of problem with his middle finger that you'll see and it throws you off.BUT this was a real good lesson on his part.found this by accident looking for randy related things. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNSsqY7knEs

Great vid! I will work on this all afternoon.
Love how he goes into the modes!!
What he calls A Aeoleon is from the last part of the believer solo or at least how I play it. My question is I thought that was in Em? Can A Aeoloen be played over Em?

I had forgotten this one  Yes, Andy Aledort was always trascribing songs in the guitar mags. I didn´t remember that he looked like that  he seems to have a bit stiff middle-finger or something...
