For those interested in this subject, here is the video of Andy Aledort explaining Randy's lesson plan. And, yes, the highly intelligent folks at Guitar World spelled his name "Rhodes" on the video...

Just got back from the memorial. AWSOME.
Hey Frank, I looked for the Hi my name is Frank tag. I really wanted to bump into you man.

I had to leave around noon, but met some great folks. Felt pretty good to contribute to the documentary.

Frank, unfortuantely, my cassettes got damaged over the years. I have had a lot of folks send me audio lessons of Randy. Still sorting through them as some marry up to the written lesson plans. If you still have yours, they are a treasure for sure.

RockyRhoads, thanks for posting the lessons link (it's too bad they mispelled rhoads in the video stuff, if it's any consolation, they also mispelled rhoads at the 25th anniversary for the parking signs. I guess true fans notice that kind of stuff). I wish they wouldn't though...

pity we didn't meet. i believe the count was up to five former students at the memorial. i was surprised to find my tapes were in such good condition.
