Keep in mind that when Quiet Riot's first record was recorded, Randy was 17. THe other bands he and Kelly were in before that were bands that played backyard parties. Some of the bands were put together for an upcoming party, stayed together a couple weeks and then they disbanded.

When I was a kid, that stuff happened a lot. Someone would be throwing a party when their parents were away and they'd talk to someone they new played guitar and ask if they had a band. If the guitar player didn't have a band, he (or she) would run around getting others to play the party with them. If they hit it off, they'd "be a band" for a while and then decide to do something else... there were so many bands that getting gigs was tough.

From what Kelly has told me, southern California was a lot like that in the '70's. Not to mention, one of the other bands had Eddie on guitar...

So for any of Randy's "bands" to have recorded would have been doubtful. It's not like today where you can hook up your laptop, turn on the appropriate software and make a quality CD.
