Nice interview. The Crowley part was interesting but also the third record involving Randy, Ozzy, Bob, and Tommy was as well, especially that there were going to start in 1982. It's a shame, things were starting to take off for that band while Randy was still alive, such as the Speak of the Devil concert that was supposed to be recorded with Randy. Imagine that..

You mean about who wrote the keyboard intro? (at 12:00) Heard this before, not sure where.

When auditioning keyboard players for BOO, Stourbridge-based, ex-Hannibal member, Bill Hunt was the original guy worked with.

Bob Daisley: "Bill actually instigated the intro to "Mr. Crowley". He was playing around with this keyboard chord progression, piddling around with some rough ideas. It was a small part, but that would become the opening sequence to "Mr. Crowley".

A few years later, Bill caught Ozzy at the Castle Donnington "Monsters Of Rock" gig. Watching the show from the side of the stage, Bill was taken aback to recognize his "Mr. Crowley" contribution still in place.

Bill Hunt: " I was really surprised when they did "Mr. Crowley" because that little chord progression was still there, which was nice to hear. I was quite chuffed actually!"
