I think we already knew this but Brad confirms it here.

From Eddie Trunk's book, Essential Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, Vol. II...

" Brad Gillis recently revealed to me (Eddie Trunk) that he has tapes of some of the last shows Ozzy ever did with Randy Rhoads. They were given to him at the time he joined the band so that he could learn the set. We can only hope they will one day be released."

Aren't those already in circulation in the shape of bootlegs?

TWAPILOT thanks for posting this.

Personally I don't see the point of releasing anymore live recordings. There are plenty of decent quality tapes available and they are all pretty similar in my opinion. Some may have an extra squeal here or there but by the end Randy had pretty much set a pattern and stuck pretty close to it (going through the motions?)...

The early days with the original band are far more interesting to me. I LOVE the version of Crazy Train from Chelmsford in 1980 where Randy throws the cool lick from his Children of the Grave solo into the intro of CT. He was still getting a feel for what he wanted to do and it shows.

Don't mean to be rude but this is from like 2010 or 2011

I already reported on this nothing new

As the days grow on it seems like there is only the old stuff to talk about nothing new

And the (new) stuff is just rehashed old stuff

We were saying that back when you joined, Nick... this place is dying because new kids aren't wanting to come and ask about Randy and us old timers have already discussed everything to death.
