I seen this in a may 1992 guitar world magazine but I don't recall Randy ever saying anything like it states in the article ? about his solos sounding like EVH !
well I don't agree with Randy's statement!! that's for sure! even if he did say it at the time! I thought I would share !!

O Ok!! I would of never thought Randy would say something like that,! cuz their is a lot of wrong information people say about him.! They definitely paraphrased what Randy had said, I believe that he had told Guitar magazine that something akin to his solos required a lot of flash for the audience, that he only had a certain amount if time to make an impression and that required licks like EVH which he said killed him.
