In the picture I can see Kelle in Randy´s first band. Why they did not follow together? How was they relationtionship? I wonder why Randy didn´t put Kelle as Quiet Riot´s drumer.
Re: New to me
Ok, the answer on chapter 5 Andrew´s book: " Randy and Kelle were really close, but I believe there was some tensión. There was something between them that just never seemed quite brotherly for some reason. They loved one another, but they just never seemed to be on the same page. Everything about them seemed different"
I will not make more questions until the end of the book

That's very normal for kids who become friends in junior high. You first get together because of similar interests and become friends. You spend time together and become close. Then, over years, your focus shifts and you spend less time together until, eventually, you drift apart.Elvira wrote:Ok, the answer on chapter 5 Andrew´s book: " Randy and Kelle were really close, but I believe there was some tensión. I met a kid in junior high who became my best friend. All through high school and beyond we were close. For a while we lived together... then his job became the major focus in his life and I got married and started a family. I think we may have spoken to each other once since the turn of the century. His life has him in one world, mine has me in another. That doesn't change the friendship we had when we were young, though.

Yeah I can see that. I know that being brothers doesnt mean to be in total armony to ech other . Is totaly comon and I see it every day. I can understand that is painful for Kelle to admidts since his brother gone. Maybe thats why hi doesnt like Andrew´s book.

Re: New to me
My little brother lives 2,897 miles away from me and he comes home to visit every 2-3 years. When we see each other it's awkward because we don't have much in common - I'm unemployed and struggling while he's successful, he is way into sports (knowing the history of all the players on every team, etc) where I like to watch sports but don't need to know all the details, etc. I love my brother and would do anything for him, but I wouldn't say we have a harmonious relationship.Elvira wrote:Yeah I can see that. You may be right about Kelle and Randy in that respect, I never thought about it like that.
