I just realized that randy used a black guitar strap throughout his quiet riot days till about late 1980 this black guitar strap can be seen in the quiet riot concert from the whiskey a go go 1979 he used this strap for his les Paul and PDV


This leads me to belive that he had his snakeskin strap and studded straps made for the blizzard and diary tour in countless pics from Randy's quiet riot days say randy used this black strap a lot or he had many of the same strap

I noticed in a lot of quiet riot pic randy has a black strap

I think it would be expected for a guitarist who is making tons of money and going on a world tour to buy a couple new straps in celebration
