Ultimate Rhoads

So I found online a Randy Rhoads: The Quiet Riot Years book/DVD. But other than that one site, I have not found anything about it! http://www.redmatchproductions.com/ thats the website I found it at. Also I found a biography written by Steven Rosen and Andrew on Velocity Publishing Group's website. It says its over 400 pages. http://velocitybooks.org/shop/randy-rhoads/ There's the site for that one. I will have the money to order both. But the second one is the only one that I have found anything for (i found it through the wikipedia page). And I dont wanna spend the money to get both if one of them is not accurate or just a scam type thing.

Have you gotten them yet? I knew about his family not helping much but i didnt know the lawsuit was that bad....Im hoping both sites dont take them down for a while....Let me know how great they are!!

Both are legit. I own both, and they are fantastic books, no matter where you stand on the debate of "who's right and who's wrong". They are great tributes to Randy, and it's sad the proper channels were not followed.

That being said, ordering from both websites is safe. Both, at the time that I ordered, accepted PayPal for payment. PayPal is easy to set up if you don't have an account, and they essentially act as a middleman for payment, so in the unlikely event there is a problem, you're covered, for all intents and purposes.

If I were you, and you truly want these books, I would order them sooner, rather than later, ESPECIALLY the Velocity book, given the lawsuit that is going forward, as it may get pulled, and you may not be able to get the book, except for a very, very inflated price on eBay, if at all.

That may sound alarmist, but given how things go in Randy-World, I wouldn't wait, and I would ensure that I had a copy in my hands.

Thanks so much. I will have the money for both in a couple weeks, but im going to talk to some people and try to borrow here in a few days, just to be safe. And Im very excited to buy this, when i read about it!!!

Honestly, the only book I'm waiting on right now is Kelly Garni's ANGELS WITH DIRTY FACES. hopefully that gets sent out soon. It's been a looooooooonnnnnnngggg time waiting for that one since I've placed my order.

The Velocity book trumps that one, though, and truth be told, even trumps the excellent Sobol QR book, good as it is. Both are worth owning, though.

Hmmm...I'm not sure weers, I live in Canada, so it was about 2-3 weeks if I remember correctly. It might be less for you, as you live in the States. Not sure, sorry.

At any rate, they're worth the wait!

Weers it usually takes about a year to get it.

All are must have material if your a Randy fan!!
