ITS THE FIRST BRIDGE PIC ON THE RIGHT

but he used the black bridge shown above but keept the old whammy bar from the silver bridge

not gonna lie its pretty close

its hard when you only have pics to compare to lol

the black bridge is based on later pics

and the silver bridge is based on afterhours footage and early pics
could be wrong but been studying pics for about a mounth or so
could be wrong about the black bridge but its hard when you cant zoom in pics and find out who makes the part

a mounth of searching and i am 99.3% sure they are the wright bridges but like i said its hard without zooming in pics or later pro footage that shows randys bridge i am going of pics here

Since Karl used a neck from a Danelectro, most likely he simply took a trem off a Strat he had available. In the late '70's replacement parts were not widely available.

The original post makes it sound like you found the exact source of the original tailpiece... Sure, these would do, who's gonna care anyway? It would be a copy of Randy's guitar with little resale value, so why not just use what you prefer?

If he decided to use the chrome one with the black bridge then he either like the chrome one better or it was just easier to see on stage for him to grab. Simple as that
