Weird topic RR dreams

I've been a RR fan since 1981, I would not call myself a rabid fan. The number of times I have listened to BOO, DOAM, and TRRY's is probably on the obsessive side. I procured both QRI&II along with "After Hours" on video cassete before tribute came out. I have a small collection of magazine articles, I own tab books, I have the box set etc..

Here is the weird part. How many of you guys have had dreams with Randy in them? I don't on a regular basis, but over the years I have had quite a few LOL. I dreamed many times of him giving me a guitar lesson. I often wonder why. I guess it's because I somehow consider him the friend I never actually met in person.

I used to try to get autographs after the concerts I attended and could not wait to try to get Randy's and meet him. He was killed about a month before I would have tried to meet him. I guess it haunts me in a way. I don't have RR shrine and I have always thought it silly to obsess over rock stars and movie stars. Still I guess I have obsessed more than I would be proud to admit LOL.

i never had dreams about randy but last night i had a dream about eddie van halen for real not lying

I've never had dreams with Randy in them, but I've had many dreams about being in a record store of some sort, or maybe it was some sort of place like in the movie 8MM, where Joaquin Phoenix takes Nick Cage to the underground porn shops and I'm discovering all of these Randy (with Ozzy-only) recordings. I've also had dreams of being in some sort of business or office where we are looking through boxes of tapes or videos or films and finding one labeled OZZY OSBOURNE-no other info, then later finding out it is with Randy 1981. I know these dreams don't seem very exciting. I guess you had to be there. I've always been into going to used record stores, and record shows so this must be from the subconsious.

Well I wondered if I was the only fan on here who had LOL. I do find it a little strange to have had dreams with him in them, but I guess I'm not completely alone in this.

i find it verry weird that some one can have a dream about someone they never meet i want to ha a dream with randy in it but the strange part is that i keep geting dreams with eddie van halen in them last night i dreamed that eddie was showing me around the fender factory and letting me test the new guitars

1 of the coolest dreams i have every had but who knows maybe some day i will have a dream about randy

I have a reccuring dream which has the same ending all the time. The black & white promo photo of Quiet Riot they are sitting in a football stadium on a bench. The band are goofing around and i'm behind the photographer as he is taking that photo. The band get up and come over to the camera guy to see what photos he's taking on his digi camera. I give Randy the nod to come over to me... I whisper in his ear ..What ever you do mate don't ever join the Ozzy Osbourne band.. Randy is looking at me as if i'm crazy and he gives me the finger..As if that's ever going to happen..I'm serious, please take my advice...The whole band are laughing at me by this point. If it was only true and he could of taking my advice the guy may have still of been here.. I think many fans would of had a similar dream.

One dream I had (and it was shortly after his passing)......

I was in a bedroom taking lesson's and just chatting away with Randy. In one of the closets was a ton of Blizzard/Diary stuff. We took a break and went out to the back yard and had a smoke. I looked up and seen a jet flying overhead and joked "Randy.....flying high,again". He looked at me and said sarcastically "How original".

Wow guys, those are seriously wacky dreams! Unfortunately I very rarely dream (maybe once a year) and when I have it's in Black & White.... pretty dull I know!

I had one last night where Randy was playing live on his LP but it was a really cool solo where the band did the thing that VH did in 5150 live and Randy was doing a similar thing to Ed but it was better

I thought it was just me. I never saw Randy in concert but I was into Ozzy when he first came out, then Diary and the news of Randy's death. I had taped the king biscuit flower hour 81/82 and I saw after hours '85/86. I felt a little disappointed with Tribute but I was excited for it to come out. I didn't get into collecting bootlegs until '94, so I found it funny that around '92, I started dreaming of going to a record store or walking down the street and there would be a music store (I have guitars and amps too) and I would pick-up a video tape or album that Randy played on but was new to me. The video tapes would obviously be concerts of Ozzy and Randy summoned up by my imagination. I have a lot of venue (being onstage or just watching) dreams from huge auditoriums to small school (other reoccurring dreams) stages. I had one dream where the Blizzard of Ozz was playing in this school. I remember there were like 5 small steps and flags on the side of the stage. I found it strange when I finally went to a record show and bought a video with 2 on the town, ET, Chicago 82, etc. just like in my dream.

The big Randy dream I had was that we were walking around town, and I'm sure I asked about lessons, they were some of the streets in Rochester/familiar area. We ended up going into a old pub type of place and there are all these huge barbarian type of guys drinking and we are sitting at the table just talking. It kinda reminds me of the QR2 cover where the band is surrounded by huge football players. I think Randy played a joke or the big guys started to notice us so, I believe we left or ran out and I think the dream went to something else...

I only had a dream (maybe nightmare is a better word) about Randy one time. That's when I was there when the crash happened and Randy was the only one who survived the crash.... I'm not going into details here but it was horrible. A nightmare really. Had that dream already many years ago but still remember it.

Had another dream when I had to fill in for Randy for an Ozzy outdoor gig!
Randy wasn't there in that dream, reason unkown, they needed a guitarplayer just a few minutes before showtime because Randy wasn't there. But when 'Carmina Burana' started I woke up...!

JUST HAD 1 AND IT WAS DURING THE PROVIDENCE SHOW BUT IS WAS OUT SIDE AND THE WAS PROBLY LIKE A MILLION PEOPLE THERE

THE SAID PART WAS I WAS TELLING RANDY SOME THING VERRY BAD WAS GOING TO HAPPEND IF HE GOT ON A PLANE BUT IN THE DREAM HE DID NOT REACT THAT MUCH TO EVERY THING I TOULD HIM
