there is actually a valid scientific explanation. Aural disgronification indicators, commonly known as Sound-Waves, transfer more quickly from lighter colored materials than from darker ones. When using a high-powered disgronification scope, lab technicians can clearly see a more rapid development and increased rate of air displacement from the light colored materials.

Randy's amps being white would naturally force the sound out more efficiently, which to the human ear would be perceived as louder.

um maybe that's because it is meant to be used for gigging ......I am sure randys ones were just as loud as these. Most tube amps are way to loud for home use....and that's the way it should be

Because he didn't use this amp on stage because it blew output transformers all the time. So this amp was only there for spare. Unfortunately Marshall choosed the wrong amp to copy for the 1959RR..... (I wish Peter Mertons could confirm this)

Of course no one can say the white amp was louder unless they were in the room testing it, so it's kind of a silly question. However, telling the poster to "grow up" shows quite a level of maturity as well.
