It could be a number of things, the 'on light'/ stand by switch' on some heads is not that bright and it may look like its off. Or he may just be coming out of a single head and cab. From memory i think he has a mic on his lower cab ?. But don't quote me on that one. He was probably DI'd into the desk for sound during filming.

Maybe all of them aren't on. It was a small TV studio used for news and a kids show (Ranger Bob/TV Pow which was a cartoon/video game show that you called in and yelled, "Pow" to fire. I think it was Intelevision's Space Armada). I recently talked to record store guy on Record Store Dy 2012 and he said he attended the After hours performance. I asked if they played any songs twice (A rumor I heard) and he said no. He owns the Bop Shop in Rochester, NY. There was another guy Ed Richter from "Life without shame" a local TV access show that went to strip bars and showed tits on TV, well cable. Many years later he was working at a gas station and I walked in with my reprint Ozzy executioner shirt. He was talking about working for WUHF 31, seeing the performance and the station selling After hours to CBS.

just watched it again and the weird thing is the lower left cab is mic'd but the cables are in the front of the white head on top of the right stack......they could easily have the head plugged into the other cab of coarse....I wonder if he was just to loud with the marshall (the reissue ones are VERY LOUD even on 1) so was either DI or had a small amp of "stage"
