I was looking at the American Pickers store online http://www.shoppickerswarehouse.com and saw a link to the Biography Channel's store... It got me to thinking, maybe one of the enterprising young members at UR would like to contact the Biography Channel with the idea of doing a show on Randy...

As the title says, it's just a thought.

I was hoping Dakota had that one in the bag ??. They must be waiting for the 40th anniversary before that one is coming out. Joking aside i'm sure the biog channel would be looking more at an Ozzy prog with a 10 second mention of Randy. Or a prog on tragic deaths of rockstars. I just don't picture RR in the spotlight getting a programme dedicated to his life.

You know there was a point, about a year ago I think, when I thought to myself, I could make a documentary myself? I think this was when some bullocks about the doc was blowing up again. After all I do own a half decent camera and editing suite. Plus I'm not exactly new to documentaries. In the end though, probably way too much hassle and expense, never mind my private reservations

So we are still waiting for Dakota's baby. What is the actual status of that? Last thing I heard they are now making a book instead. What happened?

From what i understand, the final product wasn't worthy of release, so more edits need to be done.
