Did Sammy Hagar ever mention Randy Rhoads

There is a video on Youtube of him playing a Jackson Rhoads guitar, so he probably is aware of who he is.
Did he ever mention him in any interview or anything?

Sammy didn't mention Randy in his book, Red. He played with both Ed and Satch, and both of them know about Randy. Then there is the fact that he did, indeed, play an RR Jackson with Van Halen (curious about Ed's opinion on that... think he tried it out?), so I'm sure Sammy knows about Randy...
Did Quiet Riot ever open for Montrose like VH did?
