Randy/Coachella Music Festival Hologram Idea

Ok, did anyone catch the report of the hologram of Tupac Shakur performing with Snoop Dogg at the Coachella Music Festival? This got me thinking.....

What if someone were to make a hologram of Randy, and have the hologram perform onstage with an artist? I mean, obvious first choice would be Ozzy, but imagine how COOL this would be. If they can do this with Tupac, why not Randy? Take surviving footage, create a hologram.

I know it sounds crazy, but imagine if you will how amazing this would be.

I can see ideas like this happening with other artists who have passed, and I think this will become more popular in the future.

With respect to Randy, It could be done respectfully, and what an amazing way to pay tribute to Randy!

Imagine the possibilities....

I don't think it sounds crazy at all. That would be cool. Problem is geting someone to do it.

I read about 'the hologram' (it is actually an illusion instead of a hologram) technique. It would be VERY cool if Ozzy could even do one number with Randy on stage...

I guess I'm in the minority with the whole Tupac hologram thing. I thought it was very distasteful. I don't like rap music, and I was not a fan of Tupac (I can't imagine too many white seven year old boys would be!), but I still don't like the idea of capitalizing on the fans' emotional ties to a deceased idol.

How would Ozzy bill the tour? "Ozzy and Randy Live on Tour 2013"? Or, "Randy Rhoads Resurrected"? It puts a bad taste in my mouth. I say just let the man rest in peace.

Also, Ozzy would need to be a hologram as well. There is no way he would do that plus it would look too weird. Old Ozz and young Randy? Uh...no thanks.
