questions about Randy's guitar tech

What was Randy's guitar techs name? I have heard it before but forgot. And did he continue to work as a guitar tech for other musicians? It would be cool if the guitar magazines interviewed him..

His name was Pete Mertons. After Randy's death he became Rudy Sarzo's tech. After that I'm not sure. I think he worked for Whitesnake for a while. I heard that he was in the Whitesnake Donnington DVD at the end.

My Principal's brother actually helped Pete take care of Randy's guitars. He saw Ozzy bite the head off of the bat and everything.

He was seen in the Dakota trailer for the RR docu being interviewed. It looked like one of the highlights of the film, but will we ever see it, that's another question.

anf I heard he passed away in 2011 but that is not confirmed.
