They were capezios which are dance shoes. Use the search function on this site for more info as it's been discussed in depth here and at .tk... Not trying to be a jerk about it, but I really don't remember the specifics, so a search should help you get all the info you need.

I bought the same kinda pair of Capezios that Randy had and I can easily understand why he did wear those on stage; they are perfect-made for performing, quite steady and nice balance and they´re light to wear too!

Funny this was brought up. In my younger days I always thought those were cool looking shoes and wanted a pair after seeing Randy wearing them. Randy must have liked them because I'm not sure I have seen him in photo wearing anything else on stage or off.

it is on hold right now, the guy who was supposed to cut the sheet metal for it never did and decided to hold my board hostage because he was in a fight with someone i knew. After like 6 or 7 months I was able to get it back from him, but he kept my money and still didn't do any of the sheet metal.
