1980 Tour shows

Post by axeman_12656 »

I am sitting here right now listening to the 10.22.80 Chelmsford bootleg for the first time in about 4 years and all I can think is that it's a real shame us fans will never hear an official cleaned up CD from this tour. These versions of the songs really have their own identity and sound nothing like Ozzy Live or Tribute.

I can only imagine what it would be like enhanced and cleaned up like Ozzy Live was.

Makes me sad... but at least we have the bootlegs.

Yeah gotta agree, that first UK Tour with Bob and Lee was fantastic, the raw energy of the band was never quite repeated.
I love Tribute and Ozzy Live, especially the latter, the cleaned up live recordings are ace, but I'd love to hear an official full live recording from that 1980 tour. But as we all know thats never going to happen sadly.
