No disrespect to anyone, ESPECIALLY Rudy Sarzo. But I had this idea....He was probably joking, but didn't Ozzy want to turn his book into a movie? Now I know this would NEVER EVER EVER happen, but It was an Idea I had....
What do you think?

But then theres the idea of who's gonna play who. But I already had an idea. I personally thought that Owen Wilson could pass for Randy with the blonde hair. But another idea could be Sam Worthington, he's an amazing actor.
Just give him a clean shave, give him a long blonde wig, make him wear the studded clothing and BAM you have Randy Rhoads!!
As for the lead role as Rudy Sarzo, I was thinking Hugh Jackman because he's my absolute favorite hollywood actor, very talented man. He already pulled off the role of the king of all badasses (Wolverine) Hell, why can't he be my favorite bassist as well?!

Be interesting to see a movie about the forming of blizzard and the recording of the first album.....than a movie after the fact.

Great idea! I would love to see that movie, but who would play Sharon? Maybe the wicked witch from the Wizard of Oz?

They have been talking about an Ozzy movie for years. I think the plan was for Kelly Osbourne to play Sharon. One of the names thrown around for Ozzy was Johnny Deep. They had a pic of Johnny that looked just like Ozzy back in the early Sabbath days.

Well now that's kind of a reality, but its a doc that's gonna be in theatres called God Bless Ozzy Osbourne. It actually has me interested....but Idk if i should give one more penny to Miss Moneybags (Sharon).

Even if Rudy was to sell the movie rights to Off the Rails, This should be handed DIRECTLY to Hollywood and as far away from $haron O$bourne as possible.
I would love to see some of the HI-LAROUS anecdotes be in the movie like the Chinese resturaunt incident and the "Are you calling my husband a bloody drunk?" part.

Nah. If they really stuck with the truth, most people wouldnt bother to go see it. If they embellished a lot, it would piss all of us off. The only way to make it interesting for mass audiences would be to make it a comedy with the focus, as mentioned, on Ozzy's antics, and Randy's life isnt at all a comedy....so I just dont see it working.

I agree with the funny parts, but then theres the idea of portraying March 19,1982 in the movie. I don't think us fans would be able to stomach a graphic, visceral CGI potrayal of Randy's tragic and untimley demise
This suddenly reminds me about how Marley and Me was portrayed as a cute family comedy in the trailer and it turned out to be an extremley tragic story with a few funny (if somewhat immature) parts.

Owen Wilson? With THAT d**k nose he has?
He'd look like Randy minus a chromosome, with all due respect.
Honestly?
Owen's too goofy-looking to play Randy.
Just my two cents/sense.
He does: he's got a d**k nose.

Yeah lol. I'd say so lol..
At least Sam Worthington's face resembles Randy's more than Owen Wilson's does...
I hope that Randy docufilm comes out next year.
The bits I've seen on youtube of it look pretty cool.
Plus, you have find someone who has the height and build of Randy..
Even being as short and slight as he was, he Still was one of The coolest-looking guitarists/musicians out there. Randy always seemed to look cool, you know?
That's 'cos he is cool lol :8 ...
Plus, you'd have to find someone who has that sort of androgynous handsome beauty that Randy has.. Visually speaking, Randy was practically created to become a rock star.
Fortunately, he proved to be an even greater musician and musician's musician than even that.
Randy: \m/
